Just a rant..

Ok, so I'm gonna start off by saying "Happy Belated Thanksgiving!". I hope you all had a nice and relaxing Thursday, and didn't get to sick from overeating!

Now, The subject of this rant is Dolls. Yes, dolls.
Not Barbies, not Cabbage patch kids, but reborn dolls.
My interest in these things is an on and off thing.
Sometimes I plan on trying to make one, and sometimes I just forget all about them.

A reborn doll is pretty much just a regular baby doll that has been given a major makeover by an amazing artist. I have such respect for the people who make these dolls, because I know that it's a very time consuming and difficult process.

Most times, these dolls come out absolutely gorgeous!

A long time ago I painted a picture in my mind of my perfect baby doll. (It's not that I play with dolls, I collect them. I swear!)
I decided that it was a beautiful, realistic Asian doll. It would weigh as much as a real baby, and it would fool my friends into thinking it was real.
I have a very clear vision of what it would look like, I'm not sure where it came from. Probably a picture of a really cute Baby I saw online or something.

I've been looking for a while for a doll similar to the picture in my mind, and though I haven't found an identical doll (and highly doubt that I ever will), I found the closest thing today!

This is little Kameko. Isn't she the cutest thing?

I've decided that If I can ever get enough money, I'll probably have her custom made by Neverland nursery

I really don't know...

Anyway, that was my rant!

Hope It didn't bore you too much!

Pink gradient nail tutorial

Pic #1

Pic #2

Sorry guys, once again I didn't take any pictures while I was doing my nails. Reason being because I had no idea what I was doing at the time, and was just making it up as I went. I didn't know how it would turn out.

These nails were very difficult to photograph. In real life the gradient effect is brighter pink.
Pic #3

The photo here that is the truest to the actual nails is  pic #3

Colors used in this look:
 1. Base coat: Sally Hanson Maximum growth plus in Pretty petal (#10).

2. Gradient: Sally Hanson Maximum growth plus in Dreamy pink (14)

3. Sparkle: Milani nail lacquer in disco lights (Most beautiful nail polish I've ever owned!)

4. Top coat: Sally Hanson Teflon Tuff extra strength nail protector

Ok, here's what I did.

1. Apply 2 coats of a light pearly pink nail polish.

2. Use a cosmetic sponge or paint brush to stipple on a very light layer of a deeper pink covering most of the nail and leaving a small gap between this color and the base coat.

3. Working your way up, continue stippling more layers of the deeper pink. When you're finished the pink should be darkest at the top of the nail, and then look as if it fades into the base coat.

4. Using a pink sparkly color, once again stipple it onto the nail. Focus on the top half.

5. Top it all off with a coat of clear polish and you're good to go!

What one blogs when she has nothing interesting to blog about...

MY Baby brother "Boo boo" :)

So, has anyone else been as bored as I have been today?

To warn you, this post is apt to be very uninteresting.
I hope you'll read on anyway!

I'm sitting here listening to Christmas music.
No, I don't have my dates messed up.
It's on the radio (Or in my case, on the internet) right now!

I wonder if this post is gonna get published, or if I'll even finish it.
I've started writing it 3 times today and found each time that the things I wrote of were far too uninteresting to put on here.
This time, I'm writing the same things but trying to make them sound less boring than they did before.

I've just heard that people that watch Dancing with the stars are 40% more likely to play it safe in most aspects in life.
I usually watch it, but I haven't really this year because I have ballet on Mondays so I miss all the dancing, and I can't be bothered to watch it online.
It's funny, last year I was upset because Derek Hough wasn't on the show. This year, now that he's back, I haven't watched it hardly at all.
He's my favorite in case you couldn't tell ;)
I did watch part of the results show last night. I had read about Victoria (a young brain tumor survivor and ballet dancer) a while ago and was very excited to watch her dance once I realized who she was. I loved her performance, It was beautiful!

Victoria's story

I  set up a "Contact me" and  "facebook" page for this blog today. It took forever, but I'm pretty happy with it. I also made the banner larger. I think it's an improvement!

I can't believe that my Birthday's next month! It the year has gone by so fast!
Hopefully next year will be more productive for me than this year. I'm not gonna lie I've been a "little" lazy ;)

This year my New years resolution was to not drink soda all year.
Here I am in November and I haven't tasted that stuff all year.
To tell you the truth, I couldn't see drinking any even after the year is over.
Once, a long time ago my Dad had to go clean up at a soda company because one of the ingredients had eaten through the container it was in and through the floor.
(At least that's how I remember the story)
Imagine what it could to to a persons insides!
Not good... Not good!

I need a video camera so I can get a Youtube account started... Or at least post some videos on here.
Chances are I'll post a video on here before I get a V-camera (if I ever do), even if it's bad quality.

Well, I really don't know what to talk about next!

Gonna go ask my Dad something important then take a shower.

May none of your days be as boring as mine!
